  • We get asked all of the time "what's the best washing powder to machine wash my Swags in?" Well, you simply can't go past these little beauties. That Red House Organic Soapberries is a natural alternative to laundry detergent.

Soapberries are the fruit of the Sapindus Mukorossi tree, which grows in several regions around the world, but is most prevalent in the Himalayas. The shell of the fruit (which is exceptionally high in 'saponin' aka Nature's soap) is collected, dried and packed for use. This saponin content reduces the surface tension of the water so it will remove dirt and leave fabrics, soft and clean.

    • Soapberries
    • A cotton wash bag
    • 100% Natural & Organic
    • 14c Per Wash Load for 1kg Bag
    • Hypo-Allergenic

That Red House Soapberries are harvested from wild trees in the pristine Himalayan mountains of  Nepal, by small local communities. By purchasing this product, you are supporting the 'Grow Nepal' initiative which creates a future for the Nepalese people and encourages sustainable practices across the planet.

    1. Put 5 berries in the cotton wash bag provided and double tie the top.
    2. Each set of shells will do approx 5 wash loads, depending on water temperature and wash cycle, etc.
    3.  If you like fragrance, add 4-5 drops of 100% Essential Oil and pop it in the wash.

    Happy Swagging!

Have only used once so far

So far washed clothes really good but the main reason I decided to try soapberries was irritation to my skin and I'm glad I did
